In myths, the salamander symbolises fire, purity, loyalty, love, intelligence and wisdom, a well-channelled libido, the quest for balance and indestructibility. It can pass through fire without being destroyed and when injured, its limbs grow back. The salamander is a symbol of natural regeneration, it represents our ability to overcome life’s challenges.
I was first trained in active listening at EPE (Brussels), in co-creative psychotherapy (Huy, 3 years), then in marital, family and life counselling at the CPFB (Louvain-la-Neuve, 4 years), and in hypnosis for traumatherapy (IMHEB).
Particularly inspired by humanistic psychotherapy (Carl Rogers, client-centred approach, existential therapy), while also relying on a solid knowledge of psychoanalytic and systemic therapy, I’ll listen to you confidentially with positive regard and non-judgement.

My therapeutic approach is essentially humanistic and based on the theories of Carl Rogers. The emphasis is on listening with kindness, empathy, unconditional acceptance and non-judgment, so that each person can develop their own self-love and resources.
The theoretical foundations of my training are also based on existential psychotherapy (anxieties of death, fundamental isolation, freedom, and lack of meaning; Yalom, May), the analytical current (Freud, Jung, Ferenczi), the systemic current (Elkaïm), the contextual approach (Boszormenyi-Nagy), the narrative approach, and the co-creative therapy (current from Quebec).
The analysis of what is happening in the relationship during the sessions allows for the adjustment of the relationship with the family and friends on a daily basis.
I was born to loving parents who wanted me, then cherished and pampered me. I was a little girl with eyes and ears wide open to the world, for whom all members of both families melted away.
But when I was very young, I discovered separation and family breakdown. My parents drifted apart, each going their own way. My mother bore her grief gracefully, putting her children first, while my father sailed on to other encounters, creating an extended family of four siblings.
I grew up in the shadow of these journeys, a silent witness to the complexity of love and family relationships. I found refuge in books and languages. Little by little / Step by step, words and phrases shaped my reality, enabling me to navigate through the complex events and emotions I couldn’t always understand otherwise. Following my passion, I became a language teacher, immersing myself in the depths of foreign words and grammar. It was my way of translating the world, ordering it in a way that made sense to me, and sharing it.
My own love life became my compass. I started a family, a daughter and a son were born, bringing new light to my life.
However, there was a voice inside me, a persistent whisper that told me there was more to discover. And so I found myself on a path of personal reflection and professional growth.
Curiosity led me to study psychotherapy and marriage and family counselling. It was an extraordinary journey, an exploration of my own inner world and that of others. I found myself facing profound questions about human nature, relationships and healing. This new chapter in my life opened up unsuspected horizons.
Today, I give private consultations in psychotherapy, marriage and family counseling, and trauma hypnosis. I offer a listening ear and an open heart to anyone willing to share their story. Each person who walks through my office door brings with them a unique world of dreams, pain and hope. I don’t consider myself an infallible expert, but I’m there to walk alongside them, to accompany them on their healing journey.
At the same time, I created self-esteem writing workshops (in French). These workshops are spaces of personal discovery where participants explore their deepest emotions and thoughts through words and stories. Writing becomes a pathway to self-acceptance, a window to understanding our own experiences, while sharing texts creates connection and support.
Finally, inspired by my encounters, the stories of the people I consulted, their pains and their dreams, and convinced of the power of human connection, I launched the adventure of collective relationship support workshops, “Renouez avec l’amour”. These workshops are a place where couples and individuals come together to explore the intricacies of feelings of love and personality, love and filiation relationships, communication and personal growth, with the aim of prevention and better-love. Far from claiming to have all the answers, I believe in the power of exchange and mutual learning.
My journey has been punctuated by moments of doubt and enlightenment. My story is not a saga, but it has forged my identity. If you’d like to journey with me, I’m ready to share what I’ve learned with humility and respect. Every person I meet, every story I hear, reminds me that we are all writing our own epic of life, page after page, in an ink blending pain and joy, disappointments and pleasures, challenges and triumphs. It’s up to each of us to choose our own voice and style, to vary the tone, to create new twists and turns, to reinvent the ending…
Personally, I’ve chosen: I live and work in love, acceptance and non-judgment.
